Camp CAMP
Children's Association for Maximum Potential
Gamma Chi Delta prides itself in our position as leaders of change and fostering community. Each girl who enters our sisterhood is active in our communities at home and on campus, and we are proud to be partnered with a philanthropy with a cause that not only aligns with those values but inspires our sisters to work harder at being the change we wish to see in the world.
Camp for CAMP was established in 1979 with the vision for all children and families to be able to experience what it's like to be a kid. Year-round, CAMP provides recreational opportunities for individuals with medical conditions or disabilities as well as their siblings; respite for family members; leadership development for high-school students/young adults; and hands-on educational experiences for healthcare professionals. CAMP environments are intentionally designed to be safe places where campers can interact in their own unique way, giving them the confidence to move around safely and allowing them to feel more in control while also boosting their self-esteem.

CAMP believes that – regardless of health, disability, race, socioeconomic status, or any other labels that sometimes serve to isolate – all individuals deserve the opportunity to participate in a community where they are celebrated for who they are, not how they are labeled. Gamma Chi Delta could not be prouder to support a cause like CAMP.
